TRACE took part in AGIT 2025, a conference bringing together experts in geoinformatics, mobility, and smart city development. During a Pitch Session, the project team presented the TRACE Sidewalk Delivery Robot Suitability Framework, showing how geospatial data can be used to identify suitable areas for sidewalk delivery robots in urban settings.
The session attracted around 50–70 participants, including mobility professionals, researchers, start-ups, and city planners. The audience was highly engaged and familiar with innovative mobility technologies, which led to an active exchange of ideas and questions about how the TRACE framework can be applied in real-world contexts.
Why AGIT 2025 Mattered for TRACE
Taking part in AGIT 2025 helped raise awareness of TRACE results among key people working in mobility and GIS. The presentation received positive feedback, especially regarding the framework’s practicality and potential to support cities in planning for new delivery solutions.
Several participants shared suggestions for data integration and local applications, opening the door to future collaboration and knowledge sharing. Overall, the event helped strengthen TRACE’s connections within the European mobility and geospatial community.
