On 23 July 2026, TRACE contributed to the 13th International Logistics Summer School, organised by the University of Maribor – Faculty of Logistics, by presenting its innovative solutions and key outcomes to an international audience of students and academic experts.

Held under the theme “Simulate the Future of Supply Chains: From Digital Twins to Real Decisions”, the summer school brought together approximately 30 participants, including students and professors, to explore emerging technologies and future trends shaping logistics and supply chain management.

During the session, TRACE representatives introduced the project’s vision for collaborative, intelligent and sustainable logistics, highlighting the innovative technologies developed throughout the project to support synchromodal freight transport and more efficient urban logistics operations. Participants were presented with the project’s integrated logistics platform, pilot demonstrations and the practical application of advanced digital technologies, including real-time data exchange, intelligent decision support and cooperative logistics services.

The presentation also provided an opportunity to discuss the role of research and innovation in accelerating the digital transformation of the logistics sector, while engaging directly with future logistics professionals and the academic community.

Participation in the International Logistics Summer School reflects TRACE’s ongoing commitment to knowledge transfer, education and stakeholder engagement, ensuring that the project’s results reach the next generation of logistics experts and contribute to building a more resilient, digital and sustainable European logistics ecosystem.
