The Technical University of Crete (TUC) is a small and dynamic university with a clear mission: to expand knowledge and benefit society through research integrated with education. The unit involved in TRACE is the Dynamic Systems and Simulation Laboratory (DSSL) with profound knowledge and broad experience in the theories of modelling, simulation, optimisation, automatic control, and their practical application to traffic and transportation systems.
Role in TRACE
The Technical University of Crete (TUC) mainly contributes to research developments in WP3, WP4 (leading T4.4 – Logistics Operations and Intelligent Scheduling) and WP6. Input is also provided in WP1, WP2 and WP7.
