The TRACE consortium convened for its 4th plenary meeting on 9 – 10 December 2024, hosted by Robotnik Automation in Valencia, Spain. This meeting brought together partners from across Europe to review progress, align strategies, and set the course for the next phases of the project.
Advancing the TRACE Platform
Discussions focused on the TRACE platform’s development as a holistic solution for logistics collaboration. Partners examined critical aspects, including:
- End-to-end platform integration: Ensuring seamless data flows across core components such as Blockchain, Scheduler, Route Optimizer, REManager, Streamhandler, and Interoperability.
- Engaging logistics companies: Refining GUIs, APIs, and capabilities for offline and real-time data integration to enhance TRACE’s usability.
- Progress presentations: Component leaders shared updates on development, identified connections, and addressed potential challenges to ensure alignment with the approved architecture.
The TRACE platform’s design is rooted in rigorous requirements analysis, covering a broad range of functionalities to meet the needs of logistics companies. By serving as a “mediator” between companies, the platform fosters collaboration, efficiency, and innovation in supply chain management.
Looking Ahead
The meeting reinforced the consortium’s shared vision and commitment to delivering a cutting-edge solution. With clear next steps and timelines in place, the TRACE project continues to move closer to realizing its ambitious goals.
Stay tuned for updates as we make strides in transforming logistics and supply chain operations through TRACE!
