On 12 December 2025, the TRACE project was presented during the event “Sicurezza Stradale”, organised by the Department of Civil, Chemical, Environmental and Materials Engineering (DICAM) of the Università di Bologna. The event took place at the iconic Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola, Italy.
Dissemination & Citizen Awareness Action
The initiative aimed to enhance public awareness of TRACE and encourage participation in the TRACE Citizen Survey. The activity was integrated into a broader research paper dissemination effort focused on logistics, automotive systems, and road safety.
Participants included:
- Members of the general public
- University students
- Researchers and domain experts
Approximately 15 participants attended the session.
During the presentation, attendees were introduced to:
- The objectives and scope of the TRACE project
- The project’s work on logistics optimisation and automotive safety
- The importance of citizen engagement in shaping research outcomes
Participants were invited to complete the TRACE citizen-oriented survey, designed to assess knowledge, awareness, and perceptions related to logistics and automotive safety topics addressed by the project.
Impact for TRACE
Although conducted with a focused audience, the action contributed meaningfully to TRACE dissemination objectives by:
- Increasing project visibility beyond the consortium
- Engaging non-technical and semi-technical audiences
- Collecting qualitative feedback to support communication and exploitation activities
Strengthening the societal dimension of TRACE research
The event demonstrated the importance of targeted, local dissemination activities in fostering citizen participation and enhancing awareness of EU-funded research initiatives.
TRACE continues to promote inclusive engagement actions that connect research, innovation, and society.
