Amsterdam, The Netherlands – October 22-24, 2024

The TRACE project was prominently featured at the Parcel+Post Expo 2024, the world’s leading event for the parcel delivery, e-commerce logistics, and postal industries. As part of the Postal Innovation Platform (PiP) participants’ meeting, TRACE was introduced and presented by its dedicated partner, the Post of Slovenia, to innovation managers from top postal and logistics organizations, including Swiss Post, PostNord, Austria Post, Poste Groupe, bpost, CTT Portugal, Infinite PL, An Post, Post Malaysia, UPU, and DHL.

The PiP meeting, a core element of the Connect2Post initiative, brings together innovation leaders to exchange ideas and evaluate the most promising startups shaping the future of the postal sector.

Key Highlights from the TRACE Presentation:

      • Introduction by Post of Slovenia: As TRACE’s dedicated partner, Post of Slovenia showcased the project’s innovative platform and its ambitions to transform logistics through autonomous delivery robots (ADR).
      • Insights from Early Adopters: Leading operators such as PostNord, Swiss Post, and DHL shared their experiences with ADR technology, providing insights that reinforced TRACE’s approach.
      • Slovenian Pilot Spotlight: Post of Slovenia outlined the Slovenian pilot, drawing keen interest from participants who are eager to learn from its outcomes and collaborate on shared objectives.
      • Addressing Regulatory Challenges: Attendees identified legislation as a key barrier to deploying ADRs at levels 4 and 5 autonomy. TRACE representatives detailed ongoing efforts with government ministries in Slovenia to advance regulatory frameworks that support autonomous deliveries.

Driving Collaboration and Innovation

The PiP meeting serves as a collaborative hub where postal operators and innovators come together to drive industry progress. Through Post of Slovenia’s presentation, TRACE highlighted its commitment to shaping the future of logistics while engaging in knowledge-sharing with global postal leaders.
